Here, we like to take our time. Time to talk, to understand your project, to explore your ideas, and to imagine, together, the world that will bring them to life.
We believe that an illustration doesn’t start with a sketch. It starts with a meeting, a conversation, and a story worth telling.
Whether you come to us with a well-defined project or just a vague idea that’s hard to put into words, you’ve come to the right place.

Two companions,
one shared adventure
Behind the studio, they are Sophie and Sanji, two adventure partners united by a shared conviction: every project deserves to be understood before it is illustrated.
Sophie is a freelance illustrator with a passion for stories, imaginary worlds, and projects that bring people together.
Before devoting herself fully to illustration, she worked for several years in art direction. This experience taught her that a creation only has meaning when it conveys an intention, a message, or an emotion.
That’s why she never starts a project with a drawing.
She always begins with a conversation.
By her side, Sanji ensures that the creative explorations run smoothly. Officially the studio’s mascot, he is above all her closest adventure companion, the one who reminds her that a project always moves forward better when accompanied by a healthy dose of curiosity… and a few treats.
(Sanji insists that treat breaks are an integral part of the creative process. We still haven’t managed to prove otherwise.)
Why Do We Explore So Much?
At Sanji and Sophie’s Studio, exploration is part of every adventure… even if we don’t always explore the same things.
Sophie likes to understand how a world works before bringing it to life. When she encounters an unfamiliar subject, her first instinct isn’t to look for a ready-made answer, but to ask questions, observe, and discover what makes it unique.
Whether it’s a board game, a fantasy world, an event, or a more technical subject, she needs to understand it before she can create. For her, an illustration is never just a drawing, it’s the result of a story, an exchange, and a genuine understanding.
As for Sanji… his approach to exploration is a little different. He can find a hidden treat on the other side of the house in a matter of seconds, while Sophie might spend ten minutes looking for her glasses.
Ultimately, we each have our own way of exploring the world… and that’s undoubtedly what makes the Atelier so charming.
Why is the workshop called
“Sanji and Sophie's Creative Studio”?
The Atelier didn’t get its name by chance.
Sanji is the Atelier’s first adventure companion. Curious, enthusiastic, and always ready to set out on a journey, he reminds us every day that the most wonderful projects come together best when they’re built collaboratively, with trust, curiosity, and kindness.
Through him, we wanted to convey a simple idea: the best adventures are rarely experienced alone.
This is also how we approach every project. We take the time to discover your world, explore your ideas, and move forward, step by step, until we bring to life an illustration that tells your story.
Because, deep down, we hope to be for you what Sanji is for us: a trusted companion on your adventures.
